I developed the logo, branding, and packaging for Ilse Coffee, a cafe and roastery in Westport, MA.

Ilse Coffee was named after the co-founder’s Grandmother, who lived a willful and unconventional life. The logo is inspired by her strong will and adventurous spirit - reaching forward with energy and fearlessness.

The packaging utilizes adhesive labels to reduce production costs and allow for growth. The unique color palettes differentiate products whilst working harmoniously to provide balance and unity in their range of offerings. A recent collaboration with Elemental Beverage Company has allowed expansion into canned coffee products and a packaging approach seeking to stand out from other competitors.

The coming year will bring a new mural installation to their brick-and-mortar cafe in Westport, MA.
